What is the Harvest Festival?
It's a family fun day and admission is FREE: events include, fresh produce, arts & crafts, antiques & collectables, food, kid's activities, horse drawn wagon rides, small carnival rides, kid's games, pumpkin painting, sawmill demo, black smith demonstrations, wood carving & wood burning, largest pumpkin contest, antique tractor pulls, antique tractor and hit & miss engines, 50/50 drawing, door prize drawing, live music, and much more...

·Largest Pumpkin Contest - bring your pumpkin in and have it weighed and put on display, he winner will be announce at 5:00pm the day of the event. ·Pie Baking Contest bring your pie to the kitchen in the Merchants Building, be sure to include your name, and at 1:00pm the judging will begin on the Belcher Commerce Bldg. porch. Best Meatloaf Contest - bring your favorite meatlof to the kitchen in the Merchant Bldg. be sure to include your name and judging will begin at 2:00pm on the Belcher Commerce Bldg. porch. ·Chili Cook Off bring your crock-pot of chili to the kitchen in the Merchants Building, be sure to include your name and at 3:00pm the judging will begin on the Belcher Commerce Bldg. porch.
You could be a winner!
You be the judge at the "Chili Challenge" between the Marshall City Police Dept. vs Marshall City Fire Dept. vs Marshall Firfighters Ambulance Service. Taste each department's chili and vote for the winner. Winner takes all!
Lumberjack Show: The Great Lakes Timber show will be here again this year with their logrolling, ax throwing, and woodcarving, not only is this fun to watch, but funny too!
Battle Creek Fire Department: will be here with their Smoke House Training Trailer this year, to help bring more awareness to fire safety and how to get out of a smoke filled building safely.
Kids Photo I.D.s: The Marshall Police Department will be at Harvest Festival with their Kids Photo I.D. program.
